Buenos Aires, December, 2001. In the middle of a major economic and political crisis, the public took to the streets. In the neighborhood of Colegiales, as well as in others, the neighbors began to debate the issues that they had in common and to organize autonomous horizontal political actions. And so began the Assembly of Colegiales. This documentary traces through three years of the assembly, sharing it’s dreams, fears, strengths, and weaknesses. Somehow, the documentary brings to light the conflicts and contradictions of argentinean society in a single moment of history.
